Our Policies

Shelby County Community Services is committed to obtaining and utilizing the maximum feasible input from persons served and their important others in:

• Determining individual need,
• Developing plans and individualizing service,
• Selecting among appropriate service alternatives,
• Evaluating the appropriateness, effectiveness, and quality of the individual service required,
• Evaluating the appropriateness, effectiveness, and quality of the agency's service system.

The agency management is authorized to carry out these policies.

Funding:

Shelby County Community Services is funded through revenues received from the Illinois Department of Human Services, The Shelby County Mental Health 708 Board, Private Donations, and income earned from prime production and subcontract work.
